Philadelphia Merchant’s Exchange Building

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

The Merchants Exchange Building, designed by William Strickland and built 1832-1834. The lions are heavily eroded by acid rain. The lions are highly visible in side view, but nearly disappear when you look straight on at the building.
